FactoryVision

Manufacturing Operations Platform · Manufacturing. An end-to-end platform that gives manufacturers real-time visibility over production, quality, and inventory.

FactoryVision interface
01
Overview

FactoryVision is a manufacturing execution and operations platform that connects planning, shop-floor execution, quality, and warehouse in one system.

02
Business Challenge

Production data lived in spreadsheets, paper travellers, and separate machine counters. Management only saw output figures at the end of a shift, quality issues were discovered late, and stock levels never matched what was actually on the floor.

03
Objective

Give plant management a single, live view of production status, machine performance (OEE), quality results, and material movement - and replace manual reporting with data captured at the point of work.

04
Solution

Seautomate designed and built FactoryVision as a modular platform: production orders and scheduling, operator terminals for work-order execution, automatic machine data collection for OEE, in-line quality inspection, and an integrated WMS for raw material and finished goods.

05
Key Features
  • Production planning & work-order execution
  • Real-time OEE (availability, performance, quality) per machine and line
  • Quality inspection with defect tracking and hold/release workflow
  • Warehouse management for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Downtime reason logging and analysis
  • Management dashboards and shift reports
06
User Experience

Operators - Start/stop work orders, log output and downtime from a tablet terminal on the line.

Supervisors - Monitor line status, OEE, and open quality holds in real time.

Quality team - Record inspections and manage non-conformances.

Management - Review production, quality, and inventory KPIs across the plant.

08
Implementation

Deployed on-premise in the plant with an edge gateway collecting machine signals, and integrated with the existing ERP for orders and material master data. Rolled out line by line, starting with a pilot line to validate operator workflows before plant-wide use.

09
Result

Production, quality, and inventory status became available in real time instead of at end of shift; downtime reasons are now captured consistently, which gave the plant a factual basis for improvement work. Detailed performance figures are available in project discussions.
